2014

Early beginnings

The journey of Sigya Ph is a remarkable testament to the power of community engagement, creativity, and social responsibility. Sigya Ph began working for Project PEARLS in 2014 as an organizer of livelihood programs. collaborating closely with community livelihood programs for Tondo (Ulingan) mothers. As co-founders of the program brand Nourish, Sigya Ph Chief Creative Officer (Lamuelle Vianca Domdom-Ong) and Ludic Ph Owner Aileen Hamor Anchinges were in charge of the program plans, upskilling, pricing competitiveness, product design, and revenue management.

The mothers and their family moved to Batia, Bulacan, at the end of the 2-year program. The accessories produced by Nourish are composed of paper beads that are made from old magazines

In the same year, Likhang Tahak, a social enterprise that supports NGOs that work to improve the lives of Filipinos, was established in collaboration with the Teach Peace Build Peace Movement. Likhang Tahak social Enterprise was founded to support the NGOs programs that contribute to making the Filipino Child and Youth a Peace Builder.
